Sleepy

Our little girl turned three and now refuses her daytime naps: that’s for babies, she says… 

This layout was created for a ‘white space’ challenge at my favorite website Pixelscrapper. I usually fill up my entire layout with as many papers and elements that I can find, so this was REALLY challenging! I always adore the clean type layouts I see other people do, but I fail miserably every time I set out to do a clean layout myself… This challenge forced me to leave lots of white space and I am quite happy with the result!

I used the stitched border, the felt cloud and cloud paper from my own kit the Birds and Bees, but I added some artsy papers by Captivated Visions (Celeste kit) as an overlay. Other items I used are:
-moon and stars card (recolored) by Jenn Barrette (out of this world kit)
-grey flower SSD (flyawaywithme collab kit)
-word strip, doodle, button and paint splatter by Yellow Butterfly (Neon love)
-wood background paper by Nerdy Scrapper Studio (Oink Cluck Moo kit)
