Right… Two months ago I linked to my blogtrain part, accompanied by an exulting post about having ‘finally found my designing mojo’ and ‘being back in the swing of things’. Hah. Turns out I was mistaken… I tried very hard to make something for the November blogtrain – the quickpage I was working on is 75% finished – but in the end I was dissatisfied with the result, decided to pull out of another blogtrain and casually slided back into the design slump I was in for the biggest part of 2016… :'(
But for 2017 I have high hopes. Last time has made me a little reluctant to call this my ‘comeback’ again, but at least the last two things I have been working on have filled me with creative joy and energy – and that is what is most important to me in designing!
This months’ theme is not my fave: even though I have a little boy, he is not the woodworking/mechanic/’tough guy’ type. Guess he is more the science/mathematician/brainy kind 😉 But I do love the colors and ended up with a pretty big bundle with a little help from my 7-yo daughter (? yes, she was a big help on deciding what was manly and what wasn’t – I guess we failed at boy-girl stereotype parenting :-)).
Sorry, link expired. You can find this kit at Pixel Scrapper HERE.
Don’t forget to check out the bundle that matches with this mini!
thank so much for the free part of the blog train, this is very nice
Thank you for your cool mini for this blog train. I have really enjoyed viewing your designs on Pixel Scrapper. You have a wonderful talent. I can relate to your statement that your little guy is “not the woodworking/mechanic/’tough guy’ type” — most of my guys (son, son-in-law and grandsons) aren’t either; they love more of the engineering and brainy things and are great in these fields. Seems that many of the male related scrapbook designs are geared more for the rough and tough guys. Chemistry, medical and engineering fields would be a nice to see.
Thank you for your, and your daughters, generosity!!! Sounds like you have wonderful children.
Love your contribution, but I think the “science/mathematician/brainy kind” would have fit great with the theme as well. I have a couple of those myself! Happy New Year!
thanks
Love it!! Thanks so much for sharing. Wishing you and yours a fabulous 2017 🙂

Thank you so much!!
My boy is more into science and math too and I think that would have fit just as well 😉 But I do love your kit! Thank you.
Thank you for your manly kit – I only ended up downloading two kits this round as they fit better with my ‘boys’ so loving that you and your daughter worked so well to share this with us all. Happy New Year and roll on with your mojo 🙂
Your portion turned out very nicely! Thanks for sharing it!
Dont ever feel like you have to design to be the same as everyone else. If you son doesn’t fit the norm there will be lots of us moms in the same boat that would love the different take. Follow your heart!
THANK YOU bunches 🙂
Wonderful! Thank you.
Thank you so much, Melo!
Thank you 🙂
Thank you so much for your lovely mini kit!
Gorgeous work Melo! Love your portion of the train. 🙂
I always love your work. Thank you so much! 🙂
