When the color scheme for the June blogtrain was picked, I was rooting for this one. I love (lime)green and blue combo’s and even though the sweet girlish runner-up colors were pretty too (keep an eye on PixelScrapper in July, the runner-up color scheme is being used for an exciting new project!), I could already picture a few boyish layout with the green-blue combination. And I really need to scrap some pages with my little man. He is turning into quite the model; always radiant and smiling on the majority of his pictures. Somehow I always end up scrapping his big sis, because boyish kits…. well, we need more boyish kits! He is also a big fan of everything fishy and froggy, so the theme ‘Pond Life’ was destined to be used for my ‘little man projects’. This one is the first (of many). We visited a Tropical Zoo and he spent five minutes staring at a gekko – which stared right back at him. I so wanted to know what was going on inside his head, but our little man is very tightlipped, especially when he encounters something new and amazing… Guess I’ll never know.
I used parts from the Pixel Scrapper June 2013 Pond Life Blogtrain, including my own: Felt Fever 2 / Pond Life and parts from Brooke Gazarek (scraproots), DigiTee designs and Citrus&Mint. The scrabble alpha is also by DigiTee designs. Template is by Sahlin Studio (June template).
