After a few mild days, Winter has come back with a vengeance. Even though I generally like winters (unless they’re rainy) I am quite done with it now. Bring on Spring! NOW!
Since nature obviously refuses to listen to me, I decided to join the Pixelscrapper Blogtrain and make my own Spring – behind my computer.
I loved the sweet and fresh color scheme this month. I wanted to try my hand at making digital felt and after some false starts the ‘felt fever’ really caught me! I have actually never touched a piece of felt in my life (aargh, I can hear the crafty ladies schriek now!), let alone embroidered a felt object of any kind. So I spent waaaay too much time on Pinterest browsing tons and tons of the cutest felt birdies… and then opened Photoshop! I am greatly in debt to Sugarbutt designs for her awesome tutorials on how to make felt look puffy and how to make stitches. And to one of my daytime collegues, who makes the cutest felt figures, for giving me great feedback on my ‘testbirdies’.
I can’t wait for these little birds and bees to come to life and start buzzing. Maybe doing a few layouts with these will actually bring Spring to my doorstep. Enjoy, and please leave me a note, I am sure that will bring out the sun!

Do you want a closer look before you download?
I am having a lot of fun using this kit in layouts, I am hoping to add more layout examples soon. If you have any layouts to share, please leave me a link, I would love to see what you make! Don’t forget I have a Add-on Request “game” going on the blog, so leave me your ideas for extra felties! Who knows, I might indulge you… 😉 The add-on pack will be posted in the course of April. Follow me on Facebook and you will recieve a heads-up when it’s up for grabs!
You can get all the other portions of the Pixelscrapper blogtrain here.
*Edit: There seems to be a lot of interest in this kit, so I’m running out of bandwidth daily… Please try again another day, and remember I’ll have the kit up until the next blogtrain starts!*

I love the felt!!! What a cute idea! Thank you!
Thanks so much~! Super cute~!!
Thank you
I can not believe you have actually never touched a piece of felt or embroidered any object of that kind. Your creations look so real! I think they are adorable. Congratulations. You have made Spring hop into my PC!
Thank you so much, what a lovely compliment!
Beautiful kit! Thanks so much for sharing!
What an accomplishment! I am so impressed and cannot even imagine all the different steps and techniques it took to make those incredibly realistic felties. I think all 3 of your previews are super nicely made and really classy, I love the stitched felt background of the elements preview. The stitched papers, especially those gorgeous floral ones, are such a brilliant way to extend the felt theme onto papers. Thank you!
I couldn’t download your kit due to a “too much traffic” notice. I’ll try again. Your kit is wonderful!
Please do Lou-Anne, it’s crazy busy! But I guess it will wear off in a couple of days 😀
I can not download this beautiful kit, because I have no idea how to use GE.TT. Help please. thank you.
Just click the download link and then click on the light blue word that says ‘download’. Or you can click on the little icon with the arrow on the right of the zip-file. Good luck!
Thank you!
Thanks – cute elements & papers!
How beautiful!

Thank you for participating in the Birds & Bees Blog Train. I love your part, unfortunately the downloads aren’t working for me. I can’t get any of the downloads from the GE.TT website. I’m not sure why. Can you help me or get me the links through another website?
Very nice attribution! Love those stiched papers! Thank you very much!

For some reason the download is extremely slow. My computer is telling me it’s going to take 2 days to complete the download and then the decompression fails. Any suggestions for me? Thanks as I would hate to miss your part of the blog train.
Hi Janis. There are tons of people downloading my kit these past days, so the only tip I have for you is to come back later in the month. It has to slow down some day?! I will keep the links up until the end of April and if there are still so many people interested in my kit as there are now, I’ll probably extend it even longer. So please, try again later!
thankyou or the great mini
In the interest of my bulging hard drives I tried to resist but it is just too cute. Thank you so much for taking part in this train, beautiful work! I love the soft feel to this kit.
Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! The second link worked for me. I love your puffy felt figures! So cute!!! 🙂
Thank you for the second option to download our kit! It worked like a charm and I love your kit!! Thanks again.
Glad I could help. Have fun!
These are beautiful. Thank you so much!
Sooooooooooo cute!
Thanks.
Glad I found your site today.
This is super cute!!
Thanks!
can’t wait to have a go with these thank you
Hi When I try and download it the Ge.tt site comes up and wants me to register to upload files. I did..but still don’t
see anything for downloading…Help please…what am I doing wrong… Thanks in advance for your help….
It sounds like you have somehow landed on the GE.TT homepage, instead of the direct link to the birds and bees download. You don’t have to sign up at all! Please try the second link, your download should look like a grey block with text in it: “Download Birds & Bees…” you can just press the word “download”
Thank you so much. I love the felt elements.
Thanks!
I love these. You did a great job. Makes me want to make a whole scrapbook out of felt, with a felt cover.
They made me want to do more and more, so maybe one day you will have enough felties to realize a full scrapbook 😉
I am just opening and working with this kit tonight. The details in every single piece of this kit astound me. I thought your work was beautiful… but now I am simply blown away. Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us out her in blog land.
have a great week
Wow, what a compliment! Thank you so much -I’m actually blushing a little bit now- for your kind words. Hope to see your work some day. Thanks for taking the time to comment on my kit!
This kit is amazing!! Thank you SO MUCH!
I’m downloading the kit but then it tells me that the folder is empty and can’t extract. 🙁 Is it still so busy? I can keep trying (I’ve already tried about 5 times)… I wouldn’t care so much but I LOVE your stuff and don’t want to miss it! 🙂 It’s my favorite on the blog train! 🙂
I kept trying and eventually got both of them to work! The papers took almost a half hour to download and I just had to walk away from the computer and when I came back it downloaded properly. Thanks so much! 🙂
So glad you finally got it to work! And thank you so much for caring so much that you were willing to keep trying, that is in itself actually a very big compliment… I’m just sorry you had to go through all that trouble :s
Thank you so much for sharing this with the digi-scrapping community.
Beautiful contribution! Sadly it tells me I will have to wait 3 hours to download the elements today LOL. It’s almost the end of the month and though I have repeatedly tried, I failed again today. Perhaps you might be interested in joining 4 shared or Media Fire for a FREE account. Downloading with them is quick. Just an idea 🙂 Thank you just the same though .
I personally dislike both… Somehow there are only a handful people that have a hard time downloading, I have no idea why. If the second links don’t work for you as well, please send me an email at melo@abloom.nl and I’ll send you a direct download.
Some how missed this Blog Train 🙁 Glad I found yours….supper cute 🙂
These are darling tysm!
Hugs
Thank you for sharing your talent with us. 🙂 Your felt items are GREAT! ! ! ! 🙂 I also really like the paper with the bees on it. 🙂 Thank you, again! 🙂

If you send me a direct link to it I would be ever so grateful. My email addy is: pinkmagicgirl13@yahoo.com. Thanks so much 🙂
I sent you an email with a direct link, please check your spambox if you haven’t recieved it!
